Welcome to the Spring Edition of Magna Vita Bakery!
Our small Vermont business operates from Labor Day to Memorial Day and each season the offerings slightly change. Our focus now is on green trees, soft grass and warm breezes…if we can only get rid of the heaping mounds of snow first! But we’ll help take your mind off the endless end-of-winter with our springtime sugar cookies. For the next three months, we have a bright and beautiful assortment of butterflies, Easter eggs, rabbits and two types of flowers. We also have shamrocks, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. Know anyone who might be cheered by a little “eatin’ o’ the green?”
As we are coming up on our annual mud season, not to mention Easter, our thoughts naturally turn to chocolate, and by that we mean Whoopeos. We also have Judy’s Jamprints, a big hit from the winter website. And, in honor of the sugaring season, we’re featuring Maple Glazed Sugar cookies. There are so many cookies to try! DON’T FORGET: there are still three months left in the Cookie Club. You can sign up to have someone receive a package of cookies from now through May. We still have “the usual suspects:” chocolate chip, chocolate peanut butter chip, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, peanut butter pinwheels and ginger molasses cookies, though we have retired our pumpkin walnut cookies until late next fall. We also have “well-wishes” cookies to congratulate someone, wish them a happy birthday or send them some good luck. If you need a tray of cookies for a business meeting, special gathering, or wedding reception, give us a call. For every occasion, milestone and event, we have a sweet concoction for the celebration.
All cakes and cookies are made fresh to order using Vermont product where available, high quality, fair-trade chocolate and no preservatives. The cookies are baked in small batches, hand-decorated and packaged in unseasoned, air-popped popcorn for safe travel. Due to their delicate nature, we cannot ship our cakes.
