Welcome to the Winter Edition! Magna Vita Bakery (it means "great life" in Latin) operates from Labor Day to Memorial Day, through three seasons, and each season the offerings slightly change. The featured cookies now are Pumpkin Walnut and Judy's Jamprints. Please see the links at the left for pictures and delicious details.
Cookies make wonderful presents! As we encompass the winter months and holidays, our sugar cookie specialties are the December tree, stocking and bell, the January snowman and snowflake and the February heart. We have a Happy New Year sugar cookie and we also have St. Valentine's Day cakes, chocolate or white, pink or white frosted, with the option of adding a loved one's name or a brief message. There is also a certain yearly football game in January that tends to be celebrated, so if you need to order a tray for your "get-together," please give us a call! As always, our "Usual Suspects" are available, along with our "Well Wishes" cookies and specialty cakes, created to order.
The Cookie Club is available and it's an easy way to send someone a monthly gift without having to remind yourself. You can sign up to have someone receive a package of cookies (one or two dozen) each month for as many months as you'd like within our operating timeframe. Please see the link on the left hand side of the page for more information.
We have the imagination (and cookie cutters) necessary to help you with any celebration, so please don't hesitate to make a suggestion. All cakes and cookies are made fresh to order using Vermont butter, local cage-free eggs, flour and maple syrup, high quality, fair-trade chocolate and no preservatives. They are baked in small batches, hand-decorated and packaged in unseasoned air-popped popcorn for safe travel.
