It’s that magical time of year again in Vermont: sugaring season. If you ever have the chance to see the process, from the tapping of trees to the boiling down of the sap into syrup, please do so. To honor this rich tradition and the unique Maple trees of our state, we present the Maple Glazed Sugar cookie.

Cookie Ingredients: butter, sugar, egg, vanilla, flour, baking powder
Icing Ingredients: confectioners sugar, skim milk, maple syrup, maple extract, light corn syrup.
